International Rescue Committee is an international humanitarian organisation that provides assistance to refugees and displaced populations around the world. We are looking for suitable candidate for the following position to be based in Hagadera Refugee Camp.
Health Team Leader
The Health Team Leader is responsible for overall technical implementation, coordination and management of IRC's Hagadera Refugee Camp health programs, and is responsible for the delivery of an integrated package of preventive and curative healthcare services in the camp.
Ensure improvement and maintenance of public health performance indicators as per SPHERE/ UNHCR/WHO in Hagadera refugee camp.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assure health programs plans and objectives are achieved.
- Ensure appropriate monitoring and evaluation system is in place for all health sectors.
- Preparation of monthly reports and assist in preparation of donor reports.
- Monitor, evaluate and make recommendations regarding health and sanitation.
- Ensure health spending is in line with approved budgets.
- Monitor usage of health supplies in accordance with donor regulations.
- Determine health program staffing needs.
