Export Manager - Sasini Limited

Sasini Limited is a large Agrobusiness Company quoted on the Nairobi Stock Exchange with its Head Office in Nairobi.

The company has aggressive plans to market its Teas and .Coffees and other products in Kenya and overseas. The company is seeking to recruit a suitable Exports Manager based in Mombasa with the role of effectively managing the Export Division based in Mombasa.

The role entails taking full responsibility for the division's strategic planning and implementation, export markets development bulk as well as the value added tea and coffee products and the entire operations of the division in close collaboration with other business Units of the Company to set profitability targets.

Key responsibilities will include:
Reporting to the Managing Director.

The Export Manager will be responsible for the following: -
Develop the export trade through establishing contacts with potential customer and follow up through to logical conclusion
Develop and oversee the export divisions policies and procedures to ensure efficient execution of export deals;
To prepare customer quotations and proforma invoices, packing lists, and other relevant documents.
To process export documents and attend queries with relevant bodies.
To participate in preparation and implementation of the export sales strategy.
To monitor competition on performance in export sales.
To prepare, manage and represent the Company in International Trade Fairs, seminars and exhibitions.
To co-ordinate the supply of export orders with the Production Department and ensure timely payment on the exports.
To meet export sales targets.
Qualifications/Experience
A Bachelor's degree preferably in Business Administration and/or marketing from a recognised institution and be computer literate. An MBA shall be an added advantage
At least five years experience in a senior capacity in export marketing and sales of consumer products.
Business development skills with the ability to identify opportunities and convert them into profitable business.
Must have excellent communication skills and be of high integrity.
Mandatory experience in Tea export trade and desired experience in coffee exports trade.
