VSO Jitolee is a member of the Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO) Federation, an international development organisation that works through professional volunteers to address global poverty and disadvantage. Working in partnership with local colleagues, volunteers share their skills and expertise to help find long-term solutions to poverty.
Do vou have skills and experience in any of the following?
- Business and Management - Organisational Strategy and Change Management, Micro-finance, Financial systems management, Monitoring and Evaluation, Information Technology, Communication and Marketing
- Fundraising/Resource Mobilization
- Health - Doctors, Midwifes, Community Nurses/Health Educators, Health Managers, Lab Technicians
- HIV&AIDS - HIV&AIDS Programming, Management of HIV&AIDS organisations, HIV&AIDS Mainstreaming, Policy Formulation and Advocacy, Gender and HIV&AIDS, Treatment and Care
- Community and Social Development - NGO Management, Project Management, Community and Social Work, Social Research
- Disability -Advocacy, Physiotherapy, Occupational therapy, Inclusive/Special Education
- Natural Resource Management - Agri-business, Agricultural extension
- A University degree and more than 3 years work experience in the areas listed above (nurses, midwifes and occupational therapists need a minimum of a diploma and more than 3 years work experience)
- Be willing to work overseas for 1 to 2 yrs and ready to depart within the next one year
- Be serious about using your skills to have a lasting impact on the development of some of the poorest communities in the world
