Pathcare Kenya Limited, an internationally accredited (ISO 15189) Medical Laboratory with Branches in Mombasa and Thika, wishes to recruit result-oriented, dynamic and self-driven Data Capture staff, Technologists, Phlebotomists, to join its team in the following fields for posting to its Branches in Mombasa, Eldoret (opening soon), Meru and Nairobi:
1. Data Capture Staff

- Capturing Data from request Forms
- Ensuring follow-ups are done on requests
- Ensuring correct reports are ready for printing
- Ensuring reports are dispatched out to clients on time
- Supervision of staff in department
- Training of staff as and when required
Knowledge and skills required:
- Qualifications: “O” Levels education with minimum B levels
- Computer Literacy is Mandatory – excellent typing skills with speeds of 60 wpm
- Accuracy in both written and spoken English
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in Computer applications in a medium sized renowned organization, in a Senior position
- Ability to Handle crisis situations
- Good inter-personal skills
- Good communication skills
- Leadership qualities
2. Technologists
- in the following Departments:

- Clinical Chemistry
- Haematology
- Histopathology
- Microbiology
- Cytology
Key Job responsibilities include:
- Following strict SOPs to carry out Medical tests to the highest standards
- Ensuring accurate results
- Maintain Strict Quality Assurance Procedures
- Monitor Equipment Performance and Maintenance
- Troubleshooting QC and instrument problems
- Monitor Reagent stocks in the Section.
Minimum Knowledge and skills required
- HND (Higher Level Diploma) in Medical Laboratory sciences in the relevant field from a recognized training institution.
- 2 years post-qualification working experience in a busy Medical Laboratory
- Must be registered with the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board and hold a current practicing certificate.
- Computer literacy will be an added advantage
- Ordinary Diploma holders need not apply.
3. Phlebotomists

- Collection of Specimens (e.g. Blood, HVS)
- Handling of patients
- Data Capture
Knowledge and skills required:
- Certificate in Phlebotomy from recognized institution
- Minimum of “O” Levels education
- Computer Literacy essential
- Good inter-personal skills
- 3 years working experience in Patient Handling and Phlebotomy in a recognized institution
