SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR
Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Manager, the candidate will be responsible for:-
v Planning, design documentation and implementation of various systems, hardware and software for IT, security and power supply.
v Developing, maintaining and monitoring procedures for all servers backups
v Monitoring, planning and coordinating the distribution of client/server software and service packs
v Performing on-site and remote technical support
v Formulating, implementing and managing integrated ICT strategies, policies and procedures within the society
v Overseeing the development, design and implementation of new applications and changes to existing computer application systems
v Investigating user problems, identifying their source determining possible solutions, testing and implementing these solutions
v Providing the necessary support and training including preparing training plans for society staff on IT.
v Introducing innovative ideas to support the various business processes necessary to improve delivery of services
v Support the definition of data and systems security policy, strategies and techniques that can guarantee that the institution meets its critical role
in the government.
v Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualification, Experience and Skills
v Must be holder of a bachelors degree in IT or Computer Science
v Experience with windows 2000/2003 server platforms
v Proven knowledge of LAN/WAN Configurations with experience in routers, switches, internet firewalls and wireless technology
v Hardware and Software troubleshooting skills
v Minimum 3 years working experience in a busy IT environment with remote locations
v Strong troubleshooting, decision-making and problem-solving skills
v Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
v Leadership skills to guide and mentor the work of less experienced personnel and ability to work as part of a team
v Proven experience in assignments/projects of similar nature and scope
v Web Development Skills
v Good Organizational Skills
v Accounting Knowledge
v Must be 25 – 35 years
v Must be self driven and possess ability to work with minimum supervision
v PROVEN EXPERIENCE IN WORKING with ATMs and their Switch (SPARROW), UNIXWARE operating systems – Those who do not have this experience need not apply.
v Programming knowledge (especially FoxPro) will be an added advantage

MICRO CREDIT CLERKS (ON CONTRACT)
The Micro Credit Clerks will be reporting to the Credit Manager
Duties and responsibilities
v Outreach and promotion
v Client intake and registration
v Client training and management
v Loan approvals, disbursement and recoveries
v Receipting of collections
v Preparation of monthly portfolio reports for the Credit Manager
v Management of the portfolio records
v Attending group meetings

Qualifications
v Minimum Academic Qualification KCSE C and above
v Knowledge in group/individual lending
v Ability to communicate in Kimeru
v Be computer literate
v Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written
v Must have pleasant personality with high level of integrity and reliability
v Must be persuasive with strong negotiation skills
v Must be self-driven and possess the ability to work with minimum supervision
v Have knowledge of the micro finance industry
v Diploma in Micro Finance or a diploma in Co-operative Management, Business Administration, Banking or its equivalent will be an added advantage
