Vacancy - HR Intern

Our Company

We are a local petroleum marketing company in Kenya with a network of twelve (12) petrol stations strategically located in various parts of the country.

The Position

We are looking for a HR Intern to join our HR department for a period of three (3) months commencing 1^st December 2008.

Our Responsibility

We will ensure that the candidate gains valuable practical experience by exposing the candidate to the whole spectrum of Human Resources Management functions.

Interns are treated as regular employees; you will go through an orientation program, receive a written job description and will be invited to participate in all Company related activities such as trainings and other social events.

The Candidate

The HR Intern will provide support to the HR department in a variety of tasks.

The person must be:

(i) Interested in developing his/her career in Human Resources

(ii) Keen to learn

(iii) Able to maintain confidentiality

(iv) Team Player

Qualifications

1. Human Resources/ Social Sciences under-graduate degree from a recognized university.
2. Post Graduate diploma in Human Resources
3. Well versed in Microsoft Applications, especially in excel
