Position Description:
Currently, KENCALL EPZ LTD are seeking for qualified candidates to join their team as Transcribers. This opportunity is a position to be based in Nairobi. Their role will be to transcribe audio messages to text and e-mail the transcription.

In order to be considered for this position the candidate's resume must reflect all relevant certifications, education and experience as noted in the requirements and minimum qualification sections of this job posting. Candidate Requirements:
Education Requirement:

Minimum education level of a college diploma /degree in IT, Marketing, PR, Journalism, English, Languages (French, German, Spanish), TOEFL
At least 2 year work experience
Experience/training in keyboarding, word processing, [Internet / Microsoft Word, Windows, Excel and other spreadsheets] and other standard computer applications.
Excellent Typing speed with a minimum of 50WPM keyboarding speed and 90% accuracy.
International experience in a Call Centre a plus


Qualification and Experience:

At least 21 + years and not more than 33yrs
Exceptional knowledge of English grammar, spelling, editing, composition and formatting of reports.
International exposure and or Pop cultured
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including English usage, grammar, punctuation, and style.
A crisp clear neutral accent
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent listening skills.
Able to identify and solve problems.
Record of good attendance and dependability.
Teamwork and Cooperation is the ability to work co-operatively within diverse teams, work groups and across the organization to achieve group and organizational goals.
Demonstrate warmth, cultural competence and responsiveness to customer needs.
A certificate of Good conduct
