Job Title: - Servers & Storage Architect
Responsibilities
- Design and draw up of server and storage hardware specifications to meet the dynamic company’s computing need.
- Liaise with server and storage vendors to ensure implementation adheres strictly to design
- Implement the security, accessibility control and protection of the intranet resources as defined in the IT policy document.
- Monitor server and storage performance and resources utilization with a view to establishing optimal systems performance.
- Weekly reporting of server environment status
Work experiences, Skills and Abilities:
- 1-2 Years working experience in a data center environment.
- Knowledge of Windows Server and UNIX / LINUX operating systems.
- Experience working with Server Hardware and Storage systems
- Experience with management systems e.g. HP Open view will be an added advantage.
- Good communication and written skills
Minimum Qualifications / Education:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline.
