Parapet Cleaning Services Job Vacancies

Parapet Cleaning Services, a division of Parapet Limited, is a leading professional cleaning and allied service company. We are seeking to recruit focused, self driven professionals of high integrity in the various capacities as set out below:

GENERAL MANAGER (ONE POSITION)

The position will report directly to the Group Chief Executive Officer of Parapet Limited.

The key responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitating achievement of goals in line with the company's strategic plan.
  • Implementing and overseeing management of change.
  • Overseeing corporate planning, budgeting and effective implementation of policy decisions at operational level.
  • Establishing internal monitoring systems to ensure optimal utilization within the Operations, Finance, Purchasing, HR, and Sales departments.
  • Networking with relevant local and global contacts.
Qualifications:
  • A degree from a recognized university in any of the following disciplines: Finance, Hotel Management, Business Administration, Economics, or Social sciences.
  • A Masters degree in any of the above related fields would be an added advantage.
  • A minimum of 5 years broad professional experience at senior management level in a large organization.
Applicants should have:
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Proven ability in implementing and managing change.
  • Ability to influence and posses good negotiating skills.
  • Highly developed business and commercial acumen.
  • Good financial planning and management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the cleaning industry practices, legal and regulatory framework governing the industry and exposure in ISO certification processes.

TRAINING MANAGER (ONE POSITION)

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the ideal candidate will be responsible for:-
  • Identifying training and development needs in consultation with the HR Manager.
  • Developing comprehensive training packages in order to fulfill the training heeds of the organization.
  • Controlling and managing the costs of planned programmes and assessing the return on investment of all training and development programmes.
  • Developing effective induction programmes.
The suitable candidate will require the following minimum qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in social sciences, education or any other business related discipline from a recognized institution (any training in housekeeping and laundry field will be an added advantage).
  • Work experience in a busy training department
  • Strong leadership, analytical and organizational skills demonstrated by ability to work with minimum or no supervision.
SALES MANAGER (ONE POSITION)

Reporting to the General Manager, the position will be responsible for:-
  • Analyzing market needs and drawing up suitable sales strategies.
  • Preparation and monitoring of the sales budget.
  • Nurturing effective client relationships.
  • Setting of the quarterly sales targets for the Sales team,
  • Management of performance of the Sales team.
  • Preparation and presentation of the weekly sales reports.
The suitable candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Sales and Marketing or other business related course from a recognized university and over four years work experience in a busy sales and marketing department.

SALES EXECUTIVES (FIVE POSITIONS)

Reporting to the Sales Manager, we are looking for inspiring and energetic self-starters with the necessary competencies and entrepreneurial skills to become successful Sales Executives. In return, we offer training and a well-structured commission-based remuneration package.

To be eligible for the position, you will need:
  • A degree or diploma in a business related field.
  • A passion for customer satisfaction and service delivery.
  • Integrity, honesty and a high degree of professionalism;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A valid Driver's license.
  • Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
