Position Description:
Currently, Winton Investment Services Ltd is seeking for qualified candidates to join their team as an Investment Analyst and Research Manager . This opportunity is a Permanent position to be based in Nairobi, Kenya.

Responsibilities:
Assist the Investments team in formulating and monitoring client’s global investment strategy across all portfolios and all asset classes, including
•Provision of portfolio data
•Provision of economic and market data and analytics
•Heads the investment committee
•Appraisal of specific portfolio strategies and analysis
•Assume responsibility for the delivery of analysis of funds
•Develop an understanding of the general funds property portfolios and assist in their monitoring and development
•Establish and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, fund managers and 3rd party providers globally to facilitate the collection of data
•Initiate, lead and/or contribute to ad hoc projects to support the development of the global Investment function and capabilities in line with each client’s investment strategy and/or changes in the external market, regulation and best practice
•Contribute to the management of good and effective working relationships between team members and others, internally and externally, through courteous and efficient communications and interactions
•Plan and manage own workload to maximise efficiency, reflect priorities/deadlines and accommodate changing requirements
•Sends clients quarterly statements with commentary
•Ensures that client switches are completed in a timely manner

Candidate Requirements:
-A good basic knowledge of global investment markets
-CFA – probably not qualified but doing the exams currently Level 1 or 2
-Excellent Analytical skills (Statistical analysis)
-Good relationship management skills – this role will give them scope for progression and the opportunity to liaise with people of senior level across various regions
-Excellent communication and presentation skills – will be presenting to senior management on findings of their analysis
-Corporate attitude
