Our client, a subsidiary of a large multinational and publicly listed ICT group, is looking to recruit exceptional, committed and qualified individuals to fill the positions of General Manager and Sales & Marketing Manager to join their senior management team.
These positions are ideal for individuals with outstanding team management skills and an appreciation for the ICT technologies and the industry in Kenya and East Africa.
1. GENERAL MANAGER GM/11.08
Reporting to the Regional Manager - East Africa, the General Manager will be an integral member of the executive management team for East Africa region.
Key responsibilities:
- Developing the business plan aligned to the overall group strategy;
- Managing and implementing the plan to achieve profitability targets for the company;
- Designing and implementing the product development strategy to maintain and drive business growth;
- Ensuring business adherence to budget parameters such as revenue growth, cost reduction, and capex purchases;
- Analyzing performance indicators and action plans for the business units of sales, service, technical and finance; and
- Managing and developing a staff compliment by designing employee motivation programs, skills development, incentive schemes, and inter-personal relationships.
- Bachelors degree in Business, Sales and Marketing, Information Technology or related fields;
- Masters of Business Administration or equivalent post graduate qualification;
- Minimum five (5) years general management experience preferably in the ICT industry; and
- Proven track record of enhancing profitability in medium to large enterprises.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Sales and Marketing Manager will be an integral member of the executive management team.
Key responsibilities:
- Developing a sales business plan aligned to the overall group strategy;
- Managing and implementing the sales plan to achieve sales and profitability targets set per product
- Driving business development through client prospecting, pipeline generation, on-going sales and account management;
- Developing and implementing the product development strategy to maintain and drive business growth;
- Developing weekly and monthly reports and quarterly .board papers;
- Analyzing performance indicators and action plans for the sates business unit; and
- Managing and developing a dynamic team of individuals to meet contract requirements including timely project delivery and agreed other performance targets.
- Bachelors degree in Business, Sales and Marketing, Information Technology or related fields;
- Masters of Business Administration or equivalent post graduate qualification;
- Minimum five (5) years post graduation work experience preferably in the ICT industry; and
- Proven track record of developing innovative solutions for clients.
