Kenya Wildlife Service is a State Corporation, whose responsibility is to manage and conserve wildlife. The Service seeks to recruit dynamic, innovative and experienced individuals to fill the above positions at its National Parks.
Reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor, the successful candidates will be responsible for effective facilitation of visitor access to the Parks within the approved policies and procedures.
Duties and responsibilities
- Handling of visitors courteously and ensuring timely Park access within the set procedures.
- Keeping safe custody of equipment and the revenue or cash proceeds collected.
- Ensuring revenue collection at the Park gates and maintaining accurate data.
- Proactively disseminating information to Park visitors.
- Resolving and consulting on queries/complaints related to customer concerns in the Park.
- Replenishing entry card stocks as per approved procedures.
- Issuing valid and legal entry cards as per approved policies and procedures.
- Ensuring provision of specialized attention and customer service to large groups.
- KCSE C- or its equivalent.
- Diploma in Public Relations or equivalent obtained from a recognized Institution.
- Certificate in computer operations with at least ICDL.
- Customer care experience is an added advantage.
- Must be ready to work in any of the KWS Parks.
- Must be below thirty (30) years.
- Must have high integrity.
- Self - motivated, enthusiastic, consistent and courteous.
