Rural Electrification Authority, a State Corporation within the Energy Sector, seeks to fill the following positions within the Organization:
Senior Internal Auditor (Technical)

Duties:
- Develop Audit Plans and Schedules;
- Plan and conduct detailed audit reviews on the REA technical operations;
- Develop strategies to eliminate/minimize avoidable losses to the Authority and ensure compliance with policies, plans, procedures and statutory regulations;
- Conduct physical inspections of REA projects to ensure they meet the required technical specifications and standards;
- Clear issues arising from preliminary technical audits and flag out the areas requiring urgent attention;
- Discuss audit findings with respective Managers and recommend corrective action;
- Prepare timely and accurate technical reports
- Perform duties of a team leader.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering;
- A minimum of seven (7) years relevant working experience preferably in Auditing;
- A working knowledge of computer operations and systems;
- Be of high integrity, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, effective analytical skills and demonstrate effective leadership;
- Be able to demonstrate a high level of maturity and work with minimum supervision; and
- Qualifications in Accounting/Auditing i.e. CPA (K), ACCA, CIA or CISA is desirable.
Senior Systems/Business Analyst

- Responsible for systems design,development, and testing of application and interface programs and ABAP customized reports.
- Responsible for design, testing and support of Workflow systems in the business in SAP environment.
- Undertake the development of projects, including definition of development standards and policies.
- Analyze user requests for SAP system enhancement and configuration;
- Oversee system bug fixing and testing of new changes and enhancements and develop functional solutions document;
- Undertake change management i.e. assess system changes impact, authorize system changes, and control release of new version of software or hardware;
- Validate that new system changes are moved to production correctly;
- Update system documentation and train end users
- Develop technical documentation including technical manuals, system design and operational procedures for implemented systems;
- Assist the departmental head in technical evaluations of proposed ICT systems.
Qualifications
- B.S.c degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems or equivalent qualification with a strong bias in IT
- At least seven (7) years relevant ICT experience in a challenging environment three (3) of which must be in SAP ABAP development environment
- Excellent knowledge of ABAP, Linux and Unix operating Systems
- Experience in supporting Workflow Systems, Finance, Human Resource, and Procurement functions
