Job Title: Public Affairs and Corporate Communications Manager

As a Public Affairs and Corporate Communications Manager, you shall be responsible for developing communications on all KNBS advertising and dissemination programs.
You will work closely with other members of the senior management team and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain a favorable public image for the employer by communicating employer’s programs, accomplishments and/or points of view;
- Design and implement innovative advocacy and communications strategies for KNBS advertising and data dissemination programmes;
- Manage and supervise corporate identity (Marketing, Materials, graphics, product documentation and website design among others)
- Manage a wide variety of media relations related to KNBS advertising programs as well as anticipating risks to KNBS’s reputation and brand;
- Define corporate reputation strategies and manage relationships with general public, media, opinion leaders, NGO’s and KNBS’ associates;
- Represent KNBS as a spokesperson and front-line point of communication to our development partners, customers, media, and the global communities at large;
- Prepare written materials, including press/data releases, advocacy and communication materials, executive presentations and speeches;
- Publish and communicate a calendar of statistical events;
- Maintain communication and public relation databases, including tracking communication and public relations;
- Undertake any other duties that may be assigned by the Director General.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree preferred; post-graduate or professional degrees a plus.
- At least 5 years professional communications experience.
- Good understanding of online or traditional advertising programs or companies.
- Impressive and valuable Public Affairs, Marketing & Public Relations experience.
- Proven communicator – verbal and written.
- Effective team player who can lead efforts across disciplines.
- Capable of working calmly and quickly in high-stress environments.
- Be self-driven, results-oriented and a team player with effective communication and management abilities.
- Be adept in appropriate computer skills.
- Be aged 45 years or below.
