Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare the appropriate orientation / induction for new arriving staff both national and expatriates as to the organization’ policy.
- Assist in recruitment procedures of national staff, such as vacancy announcement, receiving applications, and make application summary matrix, short listing of candidates, interviewing and making interview reports.
- Handle International flight bookings, UNHAS and hotel reservations for visitors and visiting staff, thus processing their payments.
- Oversee and submission of timesheets to finance for Staff Salaries.
- Advise Staff on Administrative procedures and procedures including contracts, benefits, training, and all HR matters.
- Ensure that the office supply such as stationeries and compound items are available at all times, in coordination with the CHF Store Manager
- Supervise cooks and cleaners. Ensure Office and guest house are kept neat, cleaners report on time and follow their schedule of work properly.
- Payment of monthly bills: telephone, gas, water, garbage collection, and any other bills
- Delivery of letters and documents to SSRRC, the UN, INGOs and other related ministries
- Maintain filing system and photocopies of relevant documents as assigned by the HR/Admin. Manager
- Maintain vehicle movement board in coordination with Logistics Coordinator
- Distribute monthly phone credit allocations to staff
- Any other assignment by the HR/admin. Manager
QUALIFICATIONS
At least 3-4 years field experience working Human resource management. He/she should speak both English and Juba Arabic fluency required; local language ability a plus. Basic computer skills required – Microsoft Word and Excel. Excellent communication skills; ability to mobilize communities.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Applicant should have relevant qualification documents.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Ability and willingness to work and stay in the field, with different people. Ability to operate a keyboard for extended periods of time. Ability to travel independently.
