SA based banking group with large African footprint seeks an experienced dealmaker for their Kenyan operation.
The chief responsibility will be to grow revenue streams and market share by sourcing, promoting and selling profitable Customised Trade Solutions/Products to the client market.
The Candidate’s responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

The chief responsibility will be to grow revenue streams and market share by sourcing, promoting and selling profitable Customised Trade Solutions/Products to the client market.
The Candidate’s responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Drive towards achievement of income targets by closing profitable cross border trade deals
- Keep track of progress with deals and drive processes towards deal closure
- Identify opportunities for acquisition of new Business deals
- Proactively identify business opportunities based on information received, leads provided or upon client request.
- Identify product needs in the market and contribute to its development
- Performs client needs analysis
- Engages in cross-functional solution development/ opportunity identification
- Establish where there is potential growth opportunity i.t.o. developing new relationships and potential increased market share in industry clusters.
- Initiate, develop and maintain purposeful business relationships
- Strengthen and cultivate business relationships with key parties that will enable business generation
- Utilise relationships to obtain and/or disseminate business related information
- Identify and engage key players who can promote product offerings
- Provide and maintain excellent service to clients
- Solve complex problems by generating alternative solutions
- Handle client related crises effectively and diplomatically
- Converse and correspond with clients
- Illustrate understanding and familiarity with the clients'' industry
