PolyArk (Africa) Limited has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Application Engineer - Kenya in our Consulting & Integration group.
The Senior Application Engineer will design, develop, implement, administer, and support enterprise application solutions.
Essential Functions/Duties:
- Responsible for designing, developing, implementing, administering, supporting, and maintenance of technical solutions for Oracle E- Business EBS R12 system which support to the Accounting and Finance, Supply Chain, Operations and HR functions.
- Implement reports, workflow design and application interfaces integrations, data conversions and development of application customizations.
- Facilitate in the analysis of business needs specifications and determining basic business requirements, understanding complex technical scenarios and requirements, and providing alternative solutions.
- Develop/support interfaces between Oracle EBS and other systems.
- Coordinates with third-party providers on issue resolution.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Qualifications:
- Self starter and able to perform with minimal supervision.
- Minimum of 8 years experience in Oracle Enterprise Applications.
- Must have strong hands on development experience of RDBMS as well as best practices, design principles, and techniques with regards to: Oracle EBS interfaces, integrations, RICE components, and API’s in Data conversions/migrations.
- Work on Oracle EBS, BPEL, Forms, Reports,, JDBC, SQL & PL/SQL, Data Loader, SQL*Loader, Metalink, XML / XSL, EDI and XML gateway, and Workflow, BI Publisher (XML Publisher), Web ADI, OID and LDAP, Active Directory and other interface and platform integration experience, as well as Oracle Alerts.
- OS: Unix, Linux, Windows.
- Bachelors degree (Advanced degree preferred)
