A leading manufacturer of polypropylene bags invites applicants from suitable qualified
persons to fill the position of a shift manager.The successful candidate will report to
the Works manager & will be responsible for:

• Ensuring that all the machines &equipments are functioning as per machine manufacturer’s specifications and producing quality products acceptable to the customers.
• Minimizing the waste by utilizing the standard process controls and manpower skills.
• Ensuring the proper utilization of manpower by using motivation and
communication skills.
• Ensuring proper hand over of the shift.
• Ensuring that all the machines /materials are utilized properly.
• Developing action plans to improve processes.
• Ensuring that adequate safety and security measures have been installed to protect factory personnel and property.
• Aggressively manage and reduce costs.
• Schedule, conducts shift meetings and
Coordinate production
• Meeting shift production targets
• Responsible for quality product.
• Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs).

Qualifications:

BSC/Higher National Diploma (Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering)

Experience:
10 years at least 5 years in a senior position.

Additional Information:
The ideal candidate should have a strong mechanical base, proven ability to manage under pressure in a manufacturing environment, as well as motivational shop floor staff management.
