The East African Community (EAC), acting as the implementing agency of the above project wishes to inform interested consulting firms that it has received a grant from the Partnership Fund towards the cost of studies on the above project.
EAC intends to apply part of the grant proceeds to eligible payments under the provision of consultancy services for feasibility studies on the implementation of the project.
The Consultant is expected to develop a policy on Cross-Border Electrification and prepare a Model Power Supply Agreement.
The Policy will govern the implementation of cross-border electrification projects and development of trans-boundary renewable energy resources while the Model Power Supply Agreement, to be signed between contracting parties, will govern the operations and transactions of individual projects.

- Corporate profiles including legal status of the lead firm and associates, general experience information over the last 5 years (including experience in Sub Saharan Africa), the firm's history and overall personnel structure and equipment capabilities;
- Financial information including audited accounts for the last 3 years, status of assets and liabilities, evidence of being a taxpayer and letter of reference from their bankers;
- Specific experience in the field of the assignment over the last 5 years to prove technical qualifications and experience and
- Concise resumes of the consultants' key personnel indicating their academic and professional qualifications and experience.
