Our client provides education, entertainment and information solutions to young parents through a magazine, catalogue and events to mention a few.
The company is in the process of expanding its operations in Kenya and the region and is currently in need of a Business Development & Accounts Manager.
The position will report to the Managing Director and will be responsible strategically positioning the business for growth and liaising with new and existing customers.

- Responsibility for the company magazine and catalogue including advertising and liaising with the sales team, editorial, lay-out, printing and distribution
- Managing events and expos
- Ensuring that the company website is maintained an up to date. Managing a blog and interacting with visitors to the site
- Liaising with current clients and leading in market intelligence
The ideal candidate should be:
- Someone with experience working for an advertising agency, a publishing or printing firm or having held a marketing position for at least 3 years
- A go-getter with a proven track record in dealing with clients, advertisers and suppliers
- Someone with an affinity and appreciation with text, design and lay-out
- Someone with a keen eye and attention to detail
- Someone who loves interacting with people
- A multi-tasker and someone with an affinity with young parents
- Exceptional communication skills
