The Aga Khan Academy, Mombasa is pleased to invite applications from well-qualified and experienced Senior School teachers of Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physical Education and a teacher for Junior School; to join the staff in January 2010.

The ability to teach more than one of these subjects will be an added advantage.

Academic Qualifications and Professional Experience

Candidates must have:

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Education or a degree in a related field with a postgraduate qualification in education. Preference will be given to candidates with postgraduate degrees.
• Professional experience in reputable schools that preferably follows the International Baccalaureate Programme or the IGCSE.
• Demonstrable achievement in enriching the lives of students through co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
