As part of our expansion program we are strengthening our sales force through hiring and training of Direct Sales Executives.
Direct Sales Executives (DSEs)
Key Objective of the Job
To distribute the company products within the micro sector using alternative distribution channels and working closely with partner organizations to strengthen relationships and enhance market penetration in new and niche markets.
The DSEs will undergo intensive initial training on company products and distribution channels in addition to periodic reinforcement and refresher training.

Desirable Qualifications & Competencies
- Bachelors' degree in Marketing, Insurance, or a Business discipline
- A Diploma in Cooperatives management or Microfmance
- A passion for direct product distribution to the micro sectors
- Self driven personality and focused on individual and team success
- Good communication and people skills
- Aged between 22 and 30 years
- Distinct prospecting ability and resilience
- Experience in direct sales in the services sector
- To market the CIC brand and range of services to the co-operatives and micro-insurance sectors.
- To visit existing clients and provide them with competitive and innovative products.
- To carry out frequent surveys and visit clients with a view to improving their risk management areas
- To follow up and ensure high retention of renewal business.
- To create and maintain good relationships with existing and new clients.
- To update and facilitate assistance to clients during the processing of their claims
- To collect schedules from co-operatives and ensure prompt delivery of quotations.
- To conduct market research and ensure that the client gets the best cover in the market
- To maintain a ready link between clients and the other functions of the company.
- To uphold CIC's core values and build a positive image of CIC as a preferred provider of insurance services to the diverse markets
