Management Sciences for Health (MSH) Jobs: Technical Advisor (TA)

MSH is currently seeking qualified professional interested in potential employment with MSH Sudan, Strengthening Pharmaceutical Systems (SPS) at the country level - Juba, South Sudan.

Technical Advisor (TA)

The Technical Advisor (TA) provides leadership and managerial oversight for Strengthening Pharmaceutical Systems' (MSH/SPS) EPI activities in Southern Sudan.

S/he develops technical strategies, work plans, budgets and ensures that these effectively address country priority needs in support of the EPI (Expanded Program on Immunization) program in Southern Sudan.

S/ He supports the MOH to ensure that progress is made in critical EPI areas such as routine immunization coverage, measles elimination, vaccine preventable diseases surveillance and polio eradication.

The TA monitors progress of MSH/SPS' EPI activities and coordinates programmatic reporting to the USAID mission and to the MSH/SPS Senior Technical Advisor in Juba.

S/he ensures the timely execution of MSH/SPS activities as well as the delivery of quality MSH/SPS work and products.

The ideal candidate will possess recognized academic qualifications as a Physician, Pharmacist or, Social Scientist. A graduate degree in public health, health policy, development management, or other relevant qualification is also required.

S / He will demonstrate at least 5 years of senior-level experience in health project management in developing countries with EPI program management experience.

Candidates must have worked collaboratively with partners including providing support to Government Programs.

Experience working with USAID-funded programs, particularly in Africa is highly desirable.
