The Company
DAS is a start-up tours and travel company targeting mainly North American clients. We are looking for an Operations Manager who will come in and take full charge of completing the set up of the Company and be fully responsible for the running of the company on a day to day basis, especially ground operations, client service, marketing strategy and positioning.
The successful candidate will have the necessary autonomy to hire his/her support staff to assist with marketing, administration, and logistics work.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for this position is someone with several years of work experience with one of the major tour operators, but is looking for a more entrepreneurial environment where they can make an impact, work in a company where they will be partner getting a share of profits, and build a faster and steeper career trajectory.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Organizing and arranging itineraries, including special trips such as volunteering trips, education trips, religious organizations, etc
- Making travel arrangements and accommodations
- Coordinate the preparation of sales materials
- Overall administrative responsibility for the day to day running of the Company
Requirements
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work with minimum supervision, self motivated, bias for both action and sense of urgency
- Good communication skills
- At least 5 years experience in tourism; while not required, a bachelors education is preferred
- Pay will be commensurate with experience. This position provides one with an opportunity to grow with the company. The successful candidate will also have both a bonus plan and part ownership in the company as part of compensation
