Health Care Manager
The overall responsibility will be to provide leadership in the growth of the Medical Business.
Key tasks will include preparing strategic and business plans and setting divisional and individual performance targets, overseeing and giving technical input in medical underwriting, monitoring the claims settlement process, premium collection and credit control issues.
Other tasks will also include appointing health care and related service providers, supervising all benefit utilisation management functions, collecting market intelligence and soliciting for new business.
Candidates must have a degree in the relevant field, ACII or equivalent is an added advantage, and at least 5 years experience in Health Care Management
Business Development Officer
Health Care Division
The incumbent will be responsible for all business development and marketing activities to facilitate acquisition of new business and retention of existing clients.
Key tasks will include soliciting for new business, handling quotations, undertaking product presentations to clients, co-ordinating business conservation activities, conducting market research and preparing regular reports.
Candidates must have a relevant degree, marketing option is desired, and at least 3 years experience in Health Insurance.
Underwriter
Health Care Division
Key tasks will include carrying our risk assessment and rating of new business and renewals, advising intermediaries and clients on agreed rates, renewing the risk assessment and rating systems, ensuring timely and accurate debiting of premium, preparing renewal notices and assisting in business development activities.
Candidates must have a relevant degree and at least 3 years experience in Medical Insurance underwriting
Claims Supervisor
Health Care Division
The overall responsibility will be to ensure prompt and fair settlement of medical claims and administration of outpatient insured and self funded schemes.
Key tasks will include supervising the processing and settlement of all inpatient and outpatient claims, assisting in case management and pre-authorisation, developing and maintaining service provider panels and conducting monthly reconciliations of all health provider accounts.
Tasks will also include management and review of claims reserves and regular reporting on relevant indicators.
Candidates must have a degree in a Health care discipline, insurance qualification, and at least 3 years experience in medical claims.
