Fintrac Horticulture Development Program Seeks Qualified Applicants

Fintrac Inc., a US-based agribusiness firm, is seeking qualified candidates for technical and administrative positions on a two-year horticultural development project in Tanzania.

The project will assist smallholder producers to increase productivity and improve international and regional marketing.

Field Managers/Senior Agronomists: should have at least a Bachelors degree
(Masters preferred) in Agronomy or related field, at least 10 years experience with
commercial horticulture production and advanced agricultural technologies, and strong management skills. Six positions available in various locations throughout Tanzania.

Agronomists/Field Technicians: should have at least a Bachelors degree in
Agronomy or related field, 3-5 years of experience in commercial horticultural crop
production, knowledge of advanced technologies, and experience training small farmers. Six positions available in various locations throughout Tanzania.

HIV/AIDS/OVC Program Coordinator: Must have at least a Bachelors degree (Masters preferred) in Health or related field and 5-10 years of progressively responsible experience working in the HIV/AIDS/OVC field. Based in Arusha with frequent travel required.

Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist: Must have at least a Bachelors degree (Masters preferred) in agricultural economics, statistics or related field, and 3-7 years working in monitoring and evaluation of agricultural development activities. Must have excellent computer, data collection, data analysis, and writing skills. Based in Arusha with frequent travel required.

Project Accountant: Should have a Bachelors degree in Accounting (CPA preferred), strong computer skills, at least 5 years of accounting experience, and preferably knowledge of donor regulations. Based in Arusha.

Project Administrators/Assistants: Should have strong computer and office
management skills. Based in Arusha.

Current driver’s license essential for all field positions and advantageous for other positions.
