1 .0 Company Secretary
(1 Position)

The key objective of the job is to provide secretarial services to the Board and legal advice to the Company and ensure compliance with the legal provisions.

The successful applicant for the position will report to the Managing Director.

This is a senior and critical position in the company and therefore the successful candidate must demonstrate leadership qualities, reliability, maturity, assertiveness, analytical and interpersonal relationship skills, and be result oriented.

We are looking for a Kenyan aged between 33-49 years to fill the position.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
  1. To prepare Board and Management meeting notices, agenda, and minutes.
  2. To ensure compliance with statutory and other legal provisions for all company operations.
  3. To prepare and submit appropriate statutory returns to the Registrar of Companies as provided for by law.
  4. To represent/ensure legal representation in court proceedings that the company may be party to.
  5. To appropriately insure all company assets, liabilities and group personal accident cover
  6. To register any encumbrances, interests, leases or any rights of the company with the registrar of lands.
  7. To co-ordinate advertisement for tenders and special supplements..
  8. To provide legal advice to management.
  9. To draft and execute suitable agreements/deeds on behalf of the Company.
  10. To manage pool transport services

Qualifications and Experience

Academic qualification: University degree LLB

Professional Qualification: Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with a current practicing certificate.

Relevant Work Experience: 5 years

2.0 Instruments Engineer
(1 Position)

The key objective of the job is to ensure proper maintenance/ functioning of all instruments and control systems and equipments in factory.

The successful applicant for the position will report to the Engineering Manager (Electrical).

This is a critical position in Factory operations and therefore the successful candidate must demonstrate leadership qualities, maturity and ability to work under pressure.

We are looking for a Kenyan aged between 30 - 48 years to fill the position.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
  1. To ensure proper operation and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems in the factory.
  2. To timely initiate the procurement/replenishment of relevant spares for the instrumentation and control systems.
  3. To ensure proper functioning and maintenance of the weighbridges and other weighing and measuring equipment.
  4. To calibrate and standardize all scales in line with Government regulations.
  5. To ensure proper adjustment and setting of the safety shutdown systems of the equipment in the plant.
  6. To effectively carry out preventive maintenance of all plant instrumentation and control systems.
  7. To ensure installation and commissioning of new instrumentation equipment in liaison with relevant authorities.
  8. To ensure accurate maintenance of all instrumentation, control systems and equipment inventory.
  9. To carry out suitable modifications to improve/sustain operations.
  10. To liaise with other departments to ensure that all instrumentation equipments are functioning.
Qualifications and Experience

Academic Qualification: University degree

Professional Qualification: Bsc Electronics & Instrumentation Or equivalent

Relevant Work Experience: 6 year

Skills: Basic Computer Knowledge

Job Knowledge: Full understanding in instrumentation and control engineering

3.0 Wages Accountant
(1 Position)

The successful applicant for the position will report to the Financial Accountant.

Job Role: To prepare accurate and timely salaries and wages payrolls in accordance with the established procedures.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
  1. To prepare accurate payrolls for all company employees and ensure payments.
  2. To take safe custody of all payroll money and account for it after payment.
  3. To prepare statutory and check off deductions for remittance within the specified time.
  4. To prepare and submit annual Income Tax Returns within the required time.
  5. To effectively analyze and reconcile all salaries/wages and related accounts in the General Ledger.
  6. To liaise with security personnel to ensure safety of cash during transit, packetting and payment.
  7. To prepare and ensure timely distribution of payslips to staff.
  8. To co-ordinate and ensure accurate packetting and payment of wages.
  9. To organise for the transportation of cash to paying centres,
Qualifications and Experience
  • BCom. (Accounting Option) or equivalent. Those with CPA (K) and five (5) years of relevant experience will be considered.

4.0 Logistics Officer

The successful applicant for the position will report to the Purchasing Manager.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Planning, progressing of orders and inventory management.

The successful applicant for the position will report to the Company Medical Officer.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
  1. To ensure accurate dispensing of drugs.
  2. To ensure high standards of general cleanliness is maintained at the clinic.
  3. To timely initiate requests for replenishment of drugs and other necessary materials.
  4. To promptly provide first aid to emergency cases and febrile convulsions.
  5. To provide counselling on visiting patients at the company clinic on matters related to Family Planning, STI, HIV/Aids.
  6. To ensure maternal child health care education services are provided efficiently and accurate returns submitted timely.
  7. To take vital signs like blood pressure, pulse and respiration, fixing drips arresting harmorrage, fixing oxygen masks to patients, suctioning frothy patients as directed
  8. To liaise with respective mortuaries in cases of death to employees to ensure proper body preservation and post mortem conducted.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Aged between 28 and 49 years
  • KCSE Mean Grade C+ or equivalent
  • Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse or equivalent
  • Supervisory, counseling and Public Relations skills necessary
