Following the tremendous growth experienced in lending to institutional borrowers in Eastern Africa, our client, the regional office of an international financial institution, has created this new position which it now wishes to fill
Reporting to the Regional Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for-
Candidates should have at least seven years credit management experience with a proven track record in making correct judgment of borrowers and managing relationships. The ability to effectively lead teams and generate new quality business will be a key selection factor.

- Developing and implementing strategies to improve the quality of services rendered to clients in the region;
- Reviewing and evaluating credit proposals received from branches;
- Ensuring proper application of policy and lending criteria, systems and procedures;
- Managing relationships with key clients and stakeholders;
- Providing effective supervision, training and development of staff.
Candidates should have at least seven years credit management experience with a proven track record in making correct judgment of borrowers and managing relationships. The ability to effectively lead teams and generate new quality business will be a key selection factor.
