Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist Job Vacancy: UNICEF

UNICEF invites applications from Sudanese Nationals for the senior level position of Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist, (NO-C), Juba, (Fixed Term)

Purpose of the Post
Under the supervision of the Chief of Social Policy, Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation (SPPME), responsible for the planning, development and implementation of the integrated monitoring and evaluation strategies in support of the country programme in UNICEF Southern.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required

  • Advanced University degree in Social Sciences, Demography, Development Planning, Statistics or a related technical field.
  • Five years of progressively responsible professional work experience at national or international level in programme monitoring and evaluation.
  • Practical experience in community-based research
  • Fluency in English and another UN language as required.
  • Knowledge of the local language of the duty station is an asset.
Other Skills and Attributes
  • Strong analytical, quantitative and qualitative research skills.
  • Ability to work in an international and multicultural environment.
  • Knowledge of computer management skills, including internet navigation and various office applications.
  • Specialized training in statistics.
  • Ability to organize and implement training.
  • Good analytical, negotiating , communication and writing skills.
Remuneration: An attractive package will be applicable at the relevant UN salary scale.
