BSS NETWORK QUALITY ENGINEER

Within the Radio Planning & Optimization Department the BSS Network Quality Engineer will report to the Network Quality Investigations Team Manager. The incumbent will be responsible for; monitoring the health of the BSS Network KPI’s;
Key Responsibilities
- Report on BSS KPI’s by producing weekly reports.
- Investigate BSS Network quality problems by conducting daily checks on the BSS Network KPI’s and identifying problems then analyzing the root cause of the problem.
- Propose solutions to address BSS Network quality issues and follow up with the relevant departments until resolution.
- Trigger capacity issues
- Check on the health status of the KPI’s after work order execution and debarring of new sites.
Minimum Requirements
- University Honors Degree in Telecommunications Engineering or Electronic Engineering
- 2- 4 years work experience in telecommunication with at least 2 years experience in GSM related environment
- Must have strong BSS Network knowledge
- Excellent computer skills (MS Excel and Perl programming)
- Database knowledge e.g. SQL
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent report writing skills
- Willingness to work long hours
- Excellent communication skills
