Requirement Overview
The incumbent will be responsible for developing and implementing a robust anti-illicit trade strategy in support of BAT business objectives. The job involves among other things gathering market intelligence, engaging with relevant stakeholders and executing anti-illicit trade strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing a strategy that will deliver a continually evolving portfolio of product identification to reduce -the prevalence of illicit trade.
- Maintaining the active awareness of operating management on illicit trade activity and trends
- Executing responsibilities within agreed budget.
- Investigating all Company related incidents with regards to illicit trade
- Manage third party contractors providing services to BAT in line with Anti Illicit Trade strategy
- Lead a team of managers and provide appropriate coaching and support for them to excel in their day to day duties.
Skills and Experience:
- At least 10 years relevant experience of which 5 years are at senior management level dealing with various stakeholders.
- Analytical skills
- Investigative/security/marketing background
- Knowledge of Court procedures
- Customs related experience an added advantage
Degree in any Business Related Field
