Safaricom Business Division within Safaricom Limited is responsible for growing and retaining data revenue and the delivery of total communications solutions to small, medium and large enterprises. To build on the existing team of professionals, the division is looking to fill the following position.
BUSINESS PERFORMANCE MANAGER
REF: SB – BPM–DEC08
Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Business Planning department, the successful candidate will be required to develop Safaricom Business forecasts and develop the division’s processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review subsidiary business plans and submit to management for discussion and approval.
- Ensure that subsidiary/associate plans are based on sound assumptions and be a part of the partners target setting team.
- Develop a dashboard to brief EXCO and management on all KPI’s of the subsidiary/ associate on a day to day weekly basis.
- Prepare benchmarking reports for the associate on a monthly basis.
- Ensure that the partner’s procedures and processes are in line with those of Safaricom.
- Ensure that partners follow the approved procedures/processes.
- Evaluate all subsidiary’/associates’ capital and major projects for approval by EXCO.
- Continue to lead subsidiary/associate integration plans.
- Assist in resource recruitment and allocation to the associate/subsidiary.
Role requirements:
- Business degree from a recognized university with 6-8 years experience in financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting and projects management.
- CPA/ACCA/ CA qualified and registered.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
- Process oriented and able to identify gaps that affect effective business performance.
- Confident, intelligent, presentable, highly organized, conscientious and detail oriented.
- Innovative and creative and have strong communication skills.
- Customer focused and have a strong experience in project and business management.
