1. CHIEF MANAGER, OPERATIONS
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer

Key Role:

  • To Provide Strategic Leadership to the Equity and Loan Business of the Institution so as to continuously achieve optimal profitability.
  • Responsible for ensuring that Market Research is undertaken to determine market needs and new business opportunities.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the Institution grows a high quality Loan Book and Investment Portfolio.
  • Develop an effective Loan Recovery Policy to ensure timely repayment of Loans.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the Institution's Risk Management Policy is adhered to.
  • Responsible for providing Quarterly Reports to the Management and the Board on the performance of the Equity and Loan Portfolios.
  • Responsible for developing and Implementing Business Improvement Strategies.
Job Requirement:
  • Bachelors Degree in a business related field.
  • MBA or it's postgraduate equivalent.
  • Competent in ICT/MIS Systems.
  • Over 10 years as an Operations Manager in a Financial Institution.

2. CREDIT MANAGER
Reports to : Chief Manager Operations

Key Role:
  • Developing and Operationalising sound Loan Portfolio Management through efficient and effective Credit Risk Analysis.
  • Reviewing Loan Applications to ensure adherence to the Institution's Credit Manual prior to approval.
  • Developing and Implementing sound Debt Management Strategies.
  • Developing and Implementing appropriate strategies for attracting and retaining prime clients that will ensure the long-term sustainability of the Institution.
  • Rolling out new products to increase the volume of business that will enhance the Institution's revenue base.
  • Developing and Reviewing Performance Standards for Branch Networks with a view to enhancing their efficiency.
  • Responsible for preparing Quarterly Reports on the Credit Portfolio and Branch Network Performance for decision making by Management and the Board.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree in a business related field.
  • MBA or it's postgraduate equivalent.
  • Over 5 years at Senior Management Level.
  • Working experience in Credit/Lending in a Financial Institution.
  • Competent in ICT/MIS Systems.
  • Cross-cutting skills.
3. CREDIT OFFICER

Reports to : Credit Manager

Key Role:
  • Interviewing, Vetting, Screening, Evaluating and Appraising Loan Applications.
  • Ensure proper Documentation and Perfection of Securities before disbursements are made.
  • Ensure that disbursements are made within Policy and established approval levels.
  • Initiate debt recovery incase of default.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree in a business related field.
  • 5 years working experience in Credit/Lending.
  • Diploma in Credit Management from a recognized examination body will be added advantage.
  • Competent in ICT/MIS Systems.
  • Cross-cutting skills
4. BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Reports to : Chief Manager Operations

Key Role:
  • Responsible for Market Research and Product Development.
  • Identify areas for Investment Opportunities.
  • Formulate, in liaison with other Stakeholders, Brand Identities and Pricing.
  • Develop marketing and distribution strategies for the Institution's products.
  • Develop and implement product promotion programmes.
  • Carry out periodic effectiveness review of the product distribution channels and report to Management and the Board.
  • Manage corporate communication.
  • Develop programmes for corporate image building.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree in a business related field.
  • MBA in Marketing will be added advantage
  • 5 years at senior Management level.
  • Working experience in Market Research & Product Development, Brand Management, Marketing & Corporate Communication in a Financial Institution.

5. PRINCIPAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
Reports to: Business Development Manager

Key Roles
  • Carry out Macro Sector and Industry Research.
  • Executing Marketing and Product distribution Strategies.
  • Responsible for gathering competitor market intelligence and provide feedback for effective decision making.
  • Advise Customers on New Products.
  • Develop Strategic Advertising Creative Materials for all Products.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing
  • 5 years working experience in Market Research, Brand Management and Marketing.
  • Competent in ICT/MIS System.
  • Cross-cutting skills.
6. STRATEGY & RISK MANAGER
Reports to: Chief Manager, Operations

Key Role
  • Developing and Reviewing the Institution's Risk Policy.
  • Review all Applications for Credit/Investment so as to Identify, Measure and Mitigate any Inherent Risk.
  • Develop and Implement effective Investment/Credit Risk Appraisal and Measurement Tools.
  • Provide Quarterly Management Reports on the performance of the equity market so as to anticipate market changes pertinent to new investment opportunities.
  • Reviewing and providing Quarterly Management Reports on events in the economy in general and Financial Sector in particular to facilitate sound decision making.
  • Co-ordinate the Formulation, Preparation, Monitoring, Reviewing and Updating the Institutions Strategic Plan,, Annual Work Plans and Performance Contracts in liaison with other Departments.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree in Economics or in a related field. MBA/CFA or it's postgraduate equivalent.
  • Over 5 years at Senior Management Level.
  • Working experience in Credit Risk Management and Strategic Planning in a Financial Institution.
  • Competent in ICT/MIS System.
  • Cross-cutting skills.
8. PRINCIPAL HUMAN RESOURCES & ADMINISTRATION OFFICER
Reports to: HR & Administration Manager

Key Roles
  • Check and confirm compliance with the Code of Rules and Regulations and the Labour Laws.
  • Co-ordinate Staff Recruitment Process and Induction Programmes.
  • Maintain an accurate Human Resource Database.
  • Collate information on Training Needs, Develop Annual
  • Training Plans and facilitate their Implementation and Evaluation.
  • Implement Health and Safety Programs that create awareness for a conducive working environment.
  • Supervise Cleaning and other Outsourced Administrative Services.
  • Transport and Fleet Management.
  • Supervise Registries and Stores.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree in Social Sciences.
  • Post Graduate qualification in Management.
