Reporting to the HR & Admin Manager, this role provides comprehensive on-site and telephonic software and hardware support for Virgin Atlantic’s Nairobi Head Office, Airport services, Cargo, Engineering and Cargo sites as well as being flexible to perform across the board functions successfully.

Special Skills and Knowledge:
 
• 3 year degree/diploma in a relevant field
• A+ and Novell certification
• Novell, Lotus Notes & Outlook administrator
• Advanced Telecoms knowledge
• 4-5 years general IT working experience and project/team administration experience.
• Support of all application software (below website provides more details)
• Compaq certification
• MSCE certification
• Ensure cost effective procurement of IT equipment and contracts with the assistance of HR & Admin Manager/Finance Dept
• Maintenance of all equipment and IT hardware
• Ability to communicate at all levels
• Be an enthusiastic team player with dedication and drive
• Should be flexible with working hours. Maybe required to work odd hours.
