National Insurance Corporation Limited is looking for a suitable person to fill the post of Senior Manager Accounts.
Key Responsibility
- Take lead in the preparation of the corporation annual budget, monitor expenditure against the budgets to ensure proper utilization, and accountability of corporation funds
- Ensure adherence to the set financial policies of the corporation, implement establishment of the internal controls and advise management on a monthly basis
- Monitor the preparation of the corporation final account and ensure that, all expenditure vouchers are properly sanctioned and backed by supporting documents, all accounting books and supporting documents properly maintained and monthly bank reconciliation statement properly updated.
- Take lead in the preparation and finalization of the corporation final accounts and reporting to the Finance Director
- Take lead and monitor the functioning of the credit control unit and reconciliation functions, evaluate the effectiveness and report to management
- Monitor and review branch accounts report and report to the finance director
- Any other duties assigned from time to time.
Qualification
- Bachelors Degree in either BCOM or BBA specialization in Accounts
- Post Graduate Diploma in Finance
- Professional qualification e.g ACCA or CPA.
Experience
- Minimum of seven years experience in Insurance Accounting
- Knowledge of Insurance will be an added advantage
