Profile :
We are looking for a sensitive, honest and accurate person who is loyal and punctual. The applicant should excel in guest relations yet be able to be firm when the need arises. The nature of this position requires the person to be well build and in good physical condition.
Requirements:
- Fluency in both English and Kiswahili
- Basic security training from a reputable security company
- Proven 3 year experience in security services within this area of operation preferably with a private security firm or government agency.
- Well disciplined and willing to work in a uniform
- Ability to work on shift scheduling
- Ability to work according to protocols
- Excellent guest relation skills
- Experience in the operation of VHF radio equipment is added advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Enforce the security of the staff and guests at the work station
- Maintain a safe working environment for all
- Notify the manager of all occurrences at the gate and the compound which need attention.
- Open and close the gate for those coming in and those going out
- Communicate clearly to all visitors on the entry procedures
- Maintain calm and order in case of violence or fire
- Direct visitors to the reception and vehicles to the parking area
- Keep staff, visitors and vehicle registers at the gate
- Advice management on issues pertaining security of the staff and the premises
- Be well groomed and presentable at all times while at the duty station.
- Follow instructions promptly and accurately
- Communicate effectively with other departments and colleagues about relevant issues.
- The culture of your duty station is one of multitasking. You will be required to perform duties outside of your regular area of operation. Reasonable request need to be followed whenever the organizational need requires so and done within team spirit.

Job class: J2: P 1 – 8
Compensation: Maximum Ksh. 11,608/=
Work station: Kisindi Lodge & Spa (or other duty station as in future required)
