Summary: We are a group of companies headquartered in Kampala but with operations in various industry sectors the East African region. We have recently made a significant investment in Dar es Salaam Tanzania where we are venturing into the highly lucrative fresh fruit juices market that is only enhanced by the East Africa Community common market.
Description: You will have full responsibility for the maintenance of two plants; one tetrapak line and a glass and PET bottles line. Taking over from the installation engineers, we will be expecting you to develop and implement an appropriate maintenance plan in close liaison with the production unit, that ensures machine availability within the uptime targets. Other core deliverables will include capacity maximization, continuous improvement and energy management.
Requirements: A degree in mechanical engineering and training or experience of of PLC are a primary requirement. Experience of working in food processing, preferably soft drinks manufacturing in an automated environment is critical. Understanding of international quality management systems such as ISO and HACCP is essential. We will also be looking for proven people management experience and budgeting and budgetary control experience.
