Reporting to the Executive Director, this position will provide leadership to the Federation’s research, policy advocacy, membership development support and marketing functions.
The successful candidate will develop and implement dynamic products portfolio aligned to the needs of the members and other target markets, formulate advocacy strategies; membership recruitment and retention strategies that will result in membership growth and satisfaction.

Minimum Requirements
- Hold a Masters Degree in Social Sciences, preferably Economics, Business Administration, Marketing or international Relations.
- 7 years of experience at senior management in Policy formulation and Advocacy
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in marketing, research and policy analysis
- An effective public communicator and possess excellent writing and negotiation skills
- The ideal candidate will be collegial and have good judgment and excellent analytical and strategic thinking capabilities;
- Ability to work effectively under pressure; and deliver tangible results in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership, organization and coordination skills; and the ability to work independently, as part of a team, and in partnership with other organizations.
PR and Communications Manager

Reporting to the Executive Director, the successful candidate will develop programs to enhance FKE’s visibility and improve brand and position FKE in the market place.
She/he will oversee all internal and external communications including press releases, marketing collateral, publications, web content, and other web communications
Minimum Requirements:
He/she will be expected to possess relevant skills to manage corporate events, guide development of corporate communication policy/strategy, prepare relevant communication statements and approaches to engage members and social partners.
Specifically she/he should possess;

- A relevant University degree, preferably in Communication, or Public Relations.
- At least five years experience in a senior PR & Communications position in a busy environment.
- Experienced in content development and design of PR & Communication strategy
- A postgraduate qualification in Public Relations or Mass Communication will be an added advantage.
Membership Support Services Officer

Reporting to the Director, Research, Advocacy and Membership, this position will ensure that all service requests are recorded, assigned, monitored and controlled for effective conclusion, within established service level requirements.
The successful candidate will assist in developing and delivering plans for growing membership; maintain membership database including query solving; follow-up annual and through the year invoicing; posts membership income and other membership fee transactions; dispatch membership publications and assists in the drafting of membership documentation
Minimum Requirements:
He/she will possess technical and leadership skills to guide operation of service management systems; and develop and implement tactical plans for improving service standards.
She/he should possess;

- Relevant experience in consultancy practice and/or consultancy business management would be an added advantage.
Accounts Assistant – Donor Projects

Reporting to Finance Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for financial accounting and reporting of donor funded Projects and coordination of procurement for goods and services
He/she will prepare weekly and monthly financial reports as per the requirement of each project; process payments and ensure all the payment vouchers are supported and approved before payment; carry out reconciliation supplier accounts, bank and cash balances and maintain projects fixed assets Register.
