STORES MANAGER - HYOUNG



Stationed at the Head Office and reporting to the Materials Control Manager, the responsibilities of the above will be:
·         Re-organising the running and setup of the Company stores to ensure they are in accordance with the best practice procedures.
·         Receiving of all materials, parts and equipment on behalf of the Company and issuing the appropriate documentation.
·         Coordination with the Imports and Logistic dept in relation to purchases (local and imports) of materials and parts.
·         Ensure proper and prompt documentation and updating of items in and out of the stores is kept at all times.
·         Maintain adequate stock levels and advise the management on material usage.
·         Ensure proper storage and labelling of all materials and parts.
·         Coordination with the various sites’ stores to ensure they adhere to the Company Stores procedures in all their activities.
·         Management of all stores, imports and purchasing personnel at the head office.
·         In charge of periodic and perpetual stock taking at all the stores, updating of the same in the bin cards and reconciling with the book stocks.
·         Any other duty to be assigned.
Qualifications
·         At least 3 years experience in a similar position.
·         Experience in structural, mechanical, electrical materials will be added advantage.
·         At least a relevant University degree e.g.  B.Com, Engineering etc.  A post graduate diploma Purchasing, project management or Logistics will be an added advantage
·         Ability to work without supervision and achieve beyond the required standards
·         Above average computer proficiency
·         Able to work with people from diverse backgrounds
