HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER (HRM)

Our client, the Presidential Trust Fund (PTF) is a non-governmental organization that deals with the provision of loans to Micro, and Small scale entrepreneurs/operators. One of its main objectives is to complement national efforts in supporting micro-projects and strengthening local economic ventures for both urban and rural low income earners. It was incorporated in 1988 under the Trustee Incorporation Ordinance of 1956 Chapter 375 of Tanzania Laws.

PTF is therefore looking for dynamic, team players who are experienced and qualified. The prospective candidates should possess strong credentials to fill the following positions;

Position summary

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Human Resource Manager will be responsible for overseeing all human resources systems and procedures, including recruitment and selection, training and development, performance management, conflict resolution and compensation rewards management.



Key responsibilities

Overseeing all HR systems, policies and procedures to ensure alignment with organizational objectives; Managing and supervising the preparation of the payroll system;

Designing and Implementing competitive incentive programs for key positions in collaboration with line managers; Managing the recruitment and hiring processes, including both internal and external recruitment;

Developing and updating annual staffing and recruitment plans in collaboration with line managers;

Establishing partnerships with local recruitment agencies, universities and ether institutions;

Developing and monitoring human resource as well as succession planning to ensure the availability of appropriate staff; Developing training plans, content and material to ensure alignment with organizational standards;

Establishing and overseeing processes that prevent internal conflicts among staff members;

Overseeing PTF's performance management system, including performance planning, mentoringl coaching, performance appraisal, and employee development;

Reviewing and advising senior management on annual staffing plans; and

Maintaining a comprehensive, accurate and accessible computerized Human Resource Information System (HRIS).



Key qualifications experience and competencies

Bachelors Degree in Social Sciences, Human Resources or equivalent professional qualification; Masters Degree in Human Resources Management will be an added advantage;

A minimum of five (5 ) years experience in management of Human Resources and micro finance industry; 3 of which must be In managerial position; Strong leadership and interpersonal skills v;ith the ability to develop team work;

Excellent organizational and communications skilis;

In - depth knowledge of local labor law and employment practices; Ability to develop systems and polices;

High level of computer literacy.

The above position requires individuals with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact professionally with diverse groups of people. The right candidate must possess strong verbal and written communication skills in Kiswahili and English. In addition he/she must be an effective team player and able to meet strict deadlines.
