POSITION TITLE: Education Liaison Officer

LOCATION: YTTC, Across Yei, South Sudan
Across is looking for a suitably qualified male or female to join the Organisation at the Yei Teacher Training College (YTTC) as Education Liaison Officer. The main role of the Education Liaison Officer is to Liaise with SMoEST in the selection of suitable candidates for pre-service teacher training course under BSF funding and maintain relations with SMoESTs throughout the training period.
Main duties shall include;
¨ Network and ensure collaboration, excellent relations and communication with SMoEST
¨ Provide technical support to SMoEST in selection of suitable candidates for the pre-service teacher training and ensure timely submission of selected candidates.
¨ Prepare periodic reports and monthly work-plans
¨ Participate in training of teacher trainees at the college
¨ May be required to carry out specific administrative operations and other related duties by management
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant discipline with further trainings and experience in management
- 3 years of working in training institutions or related field
- Knowledge on currying out assessments, data analysis, report and proposal writing
- Fluent in English (written & spoken) and excellent in MS applications, Power point, Excel and word
- Ability to work quickly and accurately, follow operational and programme procedures
· Committed Christian with a heart for service
· Hardworking and able to work under pressure on short deadlines with minimum supervision
· Demonstrate integrity, excellence, stewardship, and collaborative abilities
· Display trustworthiness, honesty, confidentiality and comfortable working in team settings
