POSITION TITLE: Nurse

LOCATION: YTTC, Across Yei, South Sudan
Across is looking for a suitably qualified male or female to join the Organisation at Yei Teacher Training College (YTTC) as a Nurse.
Job Functions
- Perform general nursing procedures and preliminary investigations including taking of vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration and blood pressure), etc
- Perform Out patient (OPD) services to the population of concern
- Referral of the very sick students and follow-up at the place of referral
- Manage various illness and to maintain records of progress
- Maintain records of all patients and fix appointments for revisits or check-ups and ensure that patients adhere to prescribed treatment.
- Keep an inventory of drugs and other medical supplies and oversee stock control and usage of drugs and other medical supplies.
- Reduce clinic infection rates by ensuring that the clinic is clean and basic duties and apply standard aseptic techniques during every sterile procedure.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports.
- Prepare and place drug orders
Minimum Qualifications:
¨ Training in Nursing.
¨ At least 2 years in a similar position.
