Techno Brain General Manager – IT Sales Vacancy

Techno Brain has a large regional presence here in Africa. Also we have a total of 11 Units worldwide with our Head Office in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. Basically, we are dealing with IT training and Solutions.

With the aim of shaping the future of IT in Africa, we have the following vacancy in our Unit in Nairobi Kenya:

Position: General Manager – IT Sales

  • Achieving targeted sales for a particular Business Unit
  • Driving Sales for IT solutions in the assigned region (ERP/CRM/HRMS/DMS etc)
  • Responsible for the profitability of the branch
  • Ensuring the productivity of Sales Team as per the expectation of the company by planning activities for sales, identification of training needs and measurement of customer awareness and satisfaction.
  • Ensuring adherence and enforcement of Sales Processes.
  • Plan and execute solution sales strategy.
  • Leading & Mentoring the Sales teams towards success.
  • Co-ordinate pre-sales activity leading to sales.
  • Generate sales leads from target market
  • Maintain customer database of prospective clients and key decision makers
  • Regular interaction with the CXO’s from the Industry for generating leads and for closure of deals.
  • Building up brand and Corporate Relations by participating in the business development efforts.
  • Drive the Sales team for collecting outstanding receivables
  • Other sales promotional activities
  • Build, leverage and sustain partner relationships in the region
  • Provide sales and management reports on regular basis.
  • Provide direct and regular reporting to the CEO / Location Head.
  • Proven record of achieving high sales targets
  • An excellent understanding of the current software industry and market is essential
  • Strong knowledge of Tier 1 software vending solutions and license programs i.e. Microsoft, Oracle etc.
  • An excellent understanding of and experience with the software industry and market in Kenya
  • Management Graduates over 8 years of experience, at least 6+years of experience in Software Solution sales.
  • Preferably Selling ERP, Software Solutions, System Integration services built on Microsoft Technologies.
Desired Skills:
  • Able to generate new business and manage accounts.
  • Should posse’s good leadership skills to lead from front in achieving the set targets.
  • Demonstrate thorough grasp of complex I.T solution selling
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, convincing, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Self-motivation and self-starter approach
  • Successful track records
