Position Description:
We are currently seeking an Agricultural Production Coordinator based in Yambio, southern Sudan. S/he will be responsible for implementation of program activities to improve agricultural productivity in Western Equatoria. This includes training of farmers in improved agronomic practices and adoption of new technologies, capacity building of country-level extension workers, business skills development of producer organizations and working to develop affordable and commercially-based access to agricultural inputs. Emphasis will be placed on activities related to seed production, processing, storage and marketing.

Qualifications:
• University degree in Agriculture or related degree
• 3-5 years experience in agricultural development projects
• 2 years experience in seed production, processing, storage and marketing
• Fluency in English
• Fluency in local language and knowledge of local culture
• Strong computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel & QuickBooks
• Familiarity with USAID rules and regulations is preferred
