JOB SUMMERY
The incumbent will lead the M and E competent HIV/AIDS in the District. He/ she will monitor the performance of all aspects of this programme through key performance indicators as well as other indicators relevant HIV/AIDS. He/she will manage Facility Management Information System [MSI] to ensure and oversee continuous data collection, conduct rigorous analysis, and recommend follow-up actions; report on programme performance to management, and prepare the M and E components / reports required by the organization.
Duties and responsibilities
Ø Develop and implement a sustainable electronic data collection and storage system for the various program activities.
Ø Review, analyze and compile monthly, quarterly, annually activity reports.
Ø Design and maintain data collection systems, ensuring that necessary information is collected, analyzed and used to guide the different projects,
Ø Manage the collection, analysis, and presentation of data and information to endure that projects meet their goals and objectives.
Ø Provide intensive technical support to field teams’ in planning and monitoring of the ongoing projects as well as the development of the systematic regular and structured monitoring exercises and compilation of various internal reports for smooth and timely implementation and accomplishment of planned project activities.
Ø Analyze data and information collected from the field, incorporate findings into reports and updates and recommend programme improvements.
Ø Work with program officers to build capacity I quality data management.
Ø Ensure timely flow and transmission of data and other reports from the field to WRP and MoH.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Ø At least Higher National Diploma in IT, Statistics or related field.
Ø An experience of working in HIV/AIDS set-up, behavior change communication and reproductive health
Ø Demonstrated experience in data collection, audit, statistical analysis and reporting; experience with methods and approaches for data use for program improvement and knowledge management activities; relevant experience using program monitoring data for improving service delivery in the HIV/AIDS sector and at the local / site level high desired.
Ø Experience in evaluation research, including applied knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, and qualitative and quantitave data analysis and interpretation will be an added advantage.
Ø Demonstrate knowledge of and compliance of HIV/AIDS indicators.
Ø Fluent written and spoken English language skills.
Ø Excellent computer skills.
Ø Understanding of various donor requirements.
