Reports to job holder: junior drivers
Job purpose: To provide and supervise motor vehicle driving services to the company
QUALFICATIONS:
• Holder of Form VI Certificate with Trade Test Certificate Grade I in auto mechanics from a recognized training Institution
• Valid Driving License Class 'C'
• Advanced driver's course certificate from a recognized training institution is an added advantage
• Working experience of at least three years in similar position
• Safe driving records
• Ability to speak Kiswahili and English
• Ability to lead
DUTIES:
Drive company Vehicles safely;
Supervise junior drivers;
Ensure proper maintenance and use of logbooks for all company's motor vehicles;
Ensure timely renewal of insurance for all company vehicles;
Ensure efficient fuel use for company vehicles and maintain fuel consumption records;
Maintain maximum security of company vehicles and tools entrusted to him/her;
Maintain company vehicles in the highest standard of cleanliness and ensure its roadworthiness;
Report promptly any defect or problem detected in the vehicle to the Administrative Officer for necessary action;
Perform any other related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
