1. University Librarian
Grade 12

Applicants must be holders of a Masters degree in Librarianship or Library and Information Science or equivalent professional qualification from a recognized University.
In addition, the applicants must:-
  • Have at least ten (10) years post professional qualification experience, five (5) years of which at Senior Management level in a large academic library.
  • Demonstrate competency in Information Communication & Technology (ICT) applications relevant to offering modern library services
  • Demonstrate evidence of involvement in research and publications in the area of library sciences.
Successful candidate will be responsible for the overall development, planning, automation, management and co-ordination of the entire University Library System, including the satellite campuses and centres.
Applicants with Ph.D Degrees will have an added advantage.
2. Audit Assistant
Grade C/D – AD/02/08/10
1 Post
The audit assistant will be reporting to the internal auditor
  • Minimum C+ grade in KSCE
  • At least CPA II or a Business related bachelors degree
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Accounting Packages (Knowledge of Top CAATs auditing software will be an added advantage).
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills
  • Aged between 20 and 30 years.
3. VCT Counsellor
Grade A/B
AD/03/08/10

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the position of VCT .
The job will entail offering pre-and post testing counselling to VCT clients; educating and counselling of HIV patients and clients with a wide range of age groups; and community mobilization and advocacy as well as following up patients and referring them to the appropriate further services as may be needed.
  • Applicants must have attained KCSE grade C and above.
  • They must possess diploma and certificates in counselling, comprehensive care and the rational use of ARVs, and Alcohol/Drug abuse and HIV/AIDs from reputable institutions.
  • They should have a Minimum of 2 years working experience on the job, counselling in an HIV/ AIDS related environment.
