Kenya Episcopal Conference Catholic Secretariat - HIV/AIDS Program Manager

The Kenya Catholic Secretariat is looking for a position ofHIV/AIDS Program Manager.

This position exists to build the capacity of KEC and the Catholic Health Commission in oversight of Clinical HIV/AIDS programs and to improve the profile of KEC HIV&AIDS services.

Description of Work
  • Participates in clinical technical assistance activities- Site Visits, Training and Mentorship activities.
  • Maintains open lines of communication between partners and KEC
  • Participates in project evaluations, assessments and support supervision activities
  • Participates in the planning and facilitation of workshops and meetings
  • Ensures compliance of HIV&AIDS projects to national guidelines and policies.
  • Representation at Program Meetings and stakeholder forums
  • Make recommendations to KEC for improvement of HIV & AIDS Services
Required Qualifications/Skills
  • A Catholic with a recommendation from his/her parish priest
  • Minimum qualification Bachelor's Degree in Medicine
  • Masters Degree in Medicine or Public Health an advantage
  • Experience in HIV/AIDS Programming preferred
  • Knowledge of the Kenyan health sector-strategies and policies
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
