Emergency Plus Medical Services, fully owned by Kenya Red Cross Society is looking for suitable candidates to fill the following positions:-
EMT-Paramedic
20 positions
Positions available in the following towns: Eldoret, Kitale, Kisii, Kisumu, Mombasa, Nairobi, Nakuru and Nanyuki
Reporting to: Operations Manager
Main duties
- Driving an emergency medical ambulance
- Making sure that the ambulance equipments are in good working condition
- Responding to critical care distress calls
- Managing all life threatening conditions efficiently and professionally
- Facilitating Pre-Hospital care curses
Academic and professional qualification
- Minimum of KCPE mean grade of C+
- Minimum of a Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution
- Licensed by the Kenya Nursing Council to practice
- Literate in computer
- Certificates in BLS/ACLS/ATLS/EPLS/ICS
- At least two years experience in nursing
Added advantage
- Experience in Pre-Hospital care
- Competent driver with valid class BCE driving license.
- Certified instructor in ACLS/ATLS
