RESEARCH OFFICER
Emaron Tanzania the Human Resources and Recruitment Consulting Agency would like to advertise to the interested and qualified public the Post of Research Officer and Investment Promotion/Facilitation Officer on behalf of it's client, Tanzania Investment Centre (TIC).
TIC is the primary agency of the Government established in 1997 by an act of Parliament No. 26 with the mandate to coordinate, encourage, promote and facilitate investment in Tanzania and to advice the Government on investment policy and related matters. TIC envisaged as an efficient investment promotion agency, "A One-Stop Centre for Investors," engaged in the business of marketing Tanzania as an investment destination. TIC major mission is to Promote and facilitate investment for national economic growth by enhancing and environment conducive for business and entrepreneurship stimulation.
TIC is looking for a competent, self driven, dynamic and result oriented individuals who are keen to develop a career in a dynamic, passionate and challenging environment.
Reporting to Promotion/Facilitation manager, the chosen candidate will be responsible for promotion of investment opportunities to investors and SMEs, coordinate investment promotion mission aimed at creating Entrepreneurship culture among local/foreign investors, assist to identify possible domestic /foreign investment partners for various economic sector, respond to inquiries from investors, carry out evaluation of applications and make recommendations for approval, visit investor's projects to facilitate and solve problems facing investors and perform any other duties as may be assigned.
EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS
To qualify for these positions you will possess a Bachelor Degree in Economics, Statistics, Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent standards. A minimum of three working experience in relevant fields. A postgraduate standard is an added advantage.
